My sincere condolences for your loss of Ingo. I had the pleasure meeting Ingo in 1987 and had the honor working with him at Mannesmann Pipe & Steel during the agency for Wavin Repox B.V. 
Ingo and I travelled a lot together to promote the Wavistong products in the US and he showed me quite a lot of nice places and of cause his places to listen to Dixieland music such as the The Landing in San Antonio with Jim Cullum. Unfortunately I had to leave Houston a two years later, however we kept contact for many years and met each other in Holland and Germany when he came over. I always will remember Ingo as a very nice friend.

My best to the family at this time of loss.  I have had many great memories traveling with Ingo while he work with me at Geneva Steel.  We had many laughs and great discussion.  He taught me much and was so helpful in all aspects.

Liebe Familie Hergarden, die Nachricht von Ingo's viel zu frühem Ableben hat mich sehr betroffen gemacht. Meine tiefste Anteilnahme gilt Ihnen allen in diesen schweren Stunden. Ich habe Ingo während meiner Lehrzeit 1970 kennengelernt und seit dieser Zeit gemeinsam mit Ihm unseren beruflichen Weg zurück gelegt. Ingo war mir ueber diese lange Zeit ein guter Freund und Kamerad. Er wird für mich und für alle die mit ihm das private und berufliche Leben teilen durften immer unvergesslich bleiben.

Ich wünsche den Angehörigen viel Kraft in diesen Tagen der Trauer und des Verlustes. Seit unserem ersten Kontakt bei Mannesmann sind mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte vergangen, in denen er immer ein besonderer Kollege und vielmehr Mensch war. Ich werde ihn in guter Erinnerung behalten.
