Condolences to Scotty's family and friends. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of grief.  Your services last night and today were a beautiful tribute; especially Zachary's and Madison's heartfelt and touching tributes to their beloved father.  Deep condolences to Howard (our father's cousin) and Delores for the loss of your dear son; and to Craig, Lori and Lyn for the loss of your brother so suddenly. For family we spoke with at your services, it was good to see you and catch up a bit. For those we missed speaking with, particularly Howard, you are in our hearts and prayers. You have been there at the services when our loved ones pass, and we thank you.  You look so much like our dad, it's always special to see you even during sad times,  Sandra Louvier Mastren.   Also from my siblings, Cathy Louvier McDonald, Bobby Louvier and Karen Louvier Jafari. (RJ Louvier, Jr.'s/Johnny's kids).

Dee - got a phone call tonight about Scotty.  So sorry to hear the news and want you to know my heart and prayers are with you and your family.

Only one of the most kindhearted people I’ve ever met, and the best boss hands down!
I started working for Scott in 2011, he didn’t like me right off the bat! He wanted to fire me on my first day, but somehow, I managed to stick around. Scott always made sure his employees were taken care of. If anyone ever needed anything they knew Scott was one to count on. I loved coming to him with my problems, he would always just laugh and make me realize how little they really were and give me a solution. He always knew how to deal with any issue, and if he didn’t, he at least knew someone who knew someone who did. He just had the biggest heart. There was one year where he was not doing well financially, he was completely stressed and had a million problems resting on his shoulders, and yet, he still went out of his way to borrow money just so he could give all his employees a Christmas bonus. His level of generosity and thoughtfulness goes unmatched.  I will miss him venting out to me and always telling a little more than I needed to know. I’ll miss his cheesy jokes and him picking on Zach and I all the time, shit I’ll even miss him yelling at everyone at the top of his lungs. 
Zach has very big shoes to fill! But already, he is doing an awesome job! How could he not, he had the best mentor as a father. Scotty would be proud. He certainly was not one to give up, he went thru a very low point in life where nothing was going right. I think a lot of people would have given up if they were in the position he was in, but he never did. He kept pushing and came back from it better than ever.  Petrochem won’t be the same without the crazy man that built it, but we will continue to work together and support each other and most importantly be here for Zach, Dee and the rest of the family. 


So very sorry to hear about Scotty's passing. Condolences and prayers all of his family. 


For Craig Louvier, "Scotty's" big brother--

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Kelley and your Family.  Your Facilities Team of Brendan, Angie, Rayanne, and Lisa have heard so many stories of Scott.  Craig would start a story, then pause and get his phone out, look for the latest picture of them, and proudly say, "Have you seen a picture of my brother?" Craig would do that every single time. Gone too soon, but now you have a guardian angel in Heaven looking over you and your family. Craig, I'm sure if Scott had a chance to say his last goodbye to you, I bet he'd say you were an amazing brother, that he was lucky to have you in his life, and to continue to take care of the Family like you always do. Craig mentioned, too, that he was so proud of his nephew and niece and would always be there for them. 

Rest in peace, Scotty, and although we never got to meet you, we felt like we knew you through Craig's memories.

Dear Ol' Scotty,
What a generous person, that is how I remember you. Around 1996 I was at a time in my life that  I needed help.   I was working at a valve company in Houston, Scotty was a salesman there.  I had my truck stolen and needed to go to a job meeting. This meeting was for a great construction contract that would allow me to move forward from the job position I had at the time.
Scotty said, "take my car", I think it was the only car Scotty and Alicia had at that time.
He and Alicia would be building their very first home in Alvin ,a short time later.
I went at lunch break and won the contract.   Later Scotty hired my company to do some dozer work at his new homesite. Zach was born and I remember Alicia and Scotty raising their beautiful newborn son, he had the whitest hair as a baby.   Before I knew it Madison was in college.    Time flies.  A lot of memories.      Scotty was my friend and he will be missed greatly.  His smile and laughter were always there. Scotty liked to step out just a little bit more than your average man. He loved to travel and be with his family and friends.     The last time I spoke to Scotty was July 29th, he was contemplating buying a  cherry picker to better handle large valves. Never thought that would be the last time we spoke.
When Zachary and Madison yearn to speak with their father, please let them know that he spoke of them, often.  That the guidance they want can be had in remembering how positive their father was.  Scotty was giving, loyal and positive.  He was not fearful.   He was fearless and would reach out to family and friends for guidance, he would contact the person he knew had experience In the certain area he needed help in.        Scotty has many friends.
He always gave without fear of not having.  A key to success that is difficult to explain but I know it is true.
I believe that is what brought Scotty success and I believe we can all learn from his example.



I  Have know scotty for  decades. I watch him succeed in business, and overcome many obstacles in life. Scott was a very hard worker, BUT enjoyed life to its fullest. He left  many friends , and a challenge  for ZACK TO CONTINUE ON, and run the business as  well as his dad did.! he will be missed  his family will miss him greatly, but will do well in life.

One of the most fun loving friendly guys i have ever known.  Always smiling, laughing and having a good time. He difinately will be missed.

I am still in shock and disbelief of your passing. Just the thought of it breaks my heart over and over again. You were a phenomenal man with a heart of gold. There was never a dull moment with you. You always filled the air with positive vibes and laughter. I am truly honored to have had the privilege of knowing such an amazing person like yourself. I was sincerely blessed to be a part of your life. We created so many beautiful memories. You were taken from us way too soon. It is not going to be the same without you. I am going to miss everything about you. Especially the random 2 minute phone calls throughout the day that had no meaning but always had me smiling and laughing. Not to mention, our group chat with the crew that was constantly having our phones go off like crazy. A text message ding every time someone talked smack and another ding because some is laughing. Another ding because someone loved it. And so on. It was nuts. You even told me personally, “Why do y’all have to like or love every commit.  It’s only an extra ding on our phones!”But at the end of the day, we all loved it and it put a smile on our faces and made us laugh. I will forever hold our treasured memories in my heart and a tear in my eye.

When I lived on Kirkshire  cross from the old Dobie HS back in the late 70s and 80s sometimes I would see Scottie walking home from school. I started picking him up especially if raining and take him home. He was a good friend to my son Jeff Gibson. I knew Scottie Mom work so I wanted to help in any way. One day Scottie had a gift for me. He was so proud. He had his Mom I believe pick out a little gold case that I used for aspirins. That has been so long ago and I still have it and think of him. PARTY AT THE POOL ... 08/06/2022. I KNOW THAT'S RIGHT  !!!

Shane Greenville called me last night 8/16/2022 still shocked and in disbelief....We spent time reminiscing and sharing stories of Scottie. Shane had some really good ones of them growing up and getting into trouble like Scottie always did....WE COULDN'T  STOP LAUGHING......ALTHOUGH THIS IS A HARD ONE TO SWALLOW, I KNOW SCOTTIE WOULD WANT US ALL TO CELEBRATE HIS LIFE WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS....HE WAS NEVER ONE FOR BEING SAD OR UPSET.......EASIER SAID THAN DONE, BECAUSE WE ALL LOVED AND CHERISHED THE TIMES WE SPENT WITH HIM....THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER LIKE YOU MY BROTHER.......GODS SPEED TO YOU, AND I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!💙💙💙

To Scotty, Man I don't know where to begin but I'll give all my best  just like how you gave everyone your heart and that's all the way. I was so blessed to meet you in 2008. We became very great friends and part of the Floyds family. Thankfully I got to meet both your parents D & Howard. Which we have all shared many memories together including your son Zachary and daughter Madison. You always help anyone in need no matter the circumstances they were in. You have a gift of giving to many also the awsome memories you made with each n everyone of us. Just a few days ago you told me how proud you were of Zach in taking over the business and bragged how well he was doing....  You also were very proud about Madison getting her Masters. Your children are very blessed to have a Great Father! You are great man and will always be one in my heart.... I always thanked you for the many great unforgettable times we had together with many friends like Jennette, Marc, Roland, Audry and many more.... Got the worst news Saturday and just couldn't believe it bro! It's gonna be very tuff not getting all them text messages n tik toks of you making fun of us...
