Herminia was born to Christopher and Mary Ruth, November 11th 1933 in the State of Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School 1955. Herminia began work after business school where she worked at several businesses starting with Machinery Sales and Engineering CO., Machinery and Fabricating Tools, Cargill Machinery, INC., and Machinery Sales and Supply Co.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings. Her brothers Fidencio, Octaviano, Hermen, Juan“Johnny”, Christopher, Amando “Willie”, Salvador “Blas”, Crendencio, Delairano, Lucas, as well as sisters Guadaleupe “Lupe” and Barbara.
Having never married nor having children, yet she always had a passion for children and family. She was a member of several Baptist Churches, Segunda in East End/Magnolia Park being her longest tenured membership. There she was a participating member of the choir and helped in the nursery and volunteered in the food bank.
She enjoyed spending time with her dogs Precious and January. She gave much of her time by participating in several charities and organizations.
Brother Phillip Salomon will officiate the ceremony.
