Herman Wallace Welch was born in Glenwood, Arkansas on May 5, 1929. His parents were Clarence Rufus Welch and Annie Lee Parker Welch.
He was in the Air Force from 6/22/48-6/21/52. On 2/14/58, he married the love of his life, Helen Henson, who had two children of her own. He retired from Reed Tool/Baker Hughes. He was a wonderful human being and a Godly man, who always had a smile and kind words for family, friends, and strangers.
He enjoyed growing plants, vegetables, and fruit. He collected Norman Rockwell memorabilia. He is survived by one brother, Glen Welch, several nieces and nephews, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, and many loving friends and neighbors.
