Henry Charles Salazar Sr, 64, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Houston, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. Henry fought a brave and courageous battle against cancer.
Henry leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Janie Salazar and his children: Christine Saenz, Henry Salazar Jr, and Tracy Salazar.
Henry was the beloved PoPo to 8 grandchildren: Christian Hernandez, Andrew Garcia, Kara Saavedra, Andrea Salazar, Raina Saenz, Antonio Saenz Jr., Alayah Salazar and Kane Salazar and 1 great grandchild, Arya Garcia. He cherished every moment with each of them.
Henry was an extremely proud Houstonian, attended Jeff Davis High School, veteran of the United States Marine Corps and avid Marathon Runner. He had a heart of gold and made the world a better place.
Henry's love of music will play in our hearts forever.
