Henry Lopez

Trinidad and Cruzita Lopez. He peacefully departed this life on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Houston

Methodist Hospital in Woodlands, Texas. Proceeding in death by Rachel Reyes his sister and parents.

He is survived by and lives on through his wife of 50 years, Adela C. Lopez and his five children. His

eldest Henry M. Lopez (Wife Kathy), Kimberly J. Rodgers (Husband Brian), Cruzita I. Lopez (Leonardo)

Darla O. Maldonado (Husband Jose), and Ursula A. Lopez. As well as ten grandchildren and one great

grandchild and countless nieces and nephews.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy from 1969 to 1974 serving on the U.S.S. Wasp, U.S.S.

Intrepid, and U.S.S. Enterprise. He formerly retired in 2009 from Metro Transit of Houston after 26

years. He went on to work part-time for Dignity, SCI Corporation from 2013 to 2020.

His family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, prayers, and acts of

kindness during their time of bereavement.

A visitation for Henry will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo - Broadway, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
