Henry,
You will be missed by us greatly, You use to cut my son and husbands hair and it was always great going into your shop.
You had it going on with the music, whether it be 93.7, country, blues or jazz, or Tejano,the music was always there, I will miss you Henry and I hope you see the Velvet Elvis in Heaven one day, I will see you there too.

Today is one month since your passing dad. As we start to sort thru your things both at home and the shop,thank you for making it not so sad as we discover more and more memories of the happier times in our lives. I never thought I'd say this but "Thank you" for seeing the sentimental significance of "SAVING EVERYTHING". It has brought us joy and many chuckles remembering each ocasion or the history behind a particular item. We miss you and were blessed to have you as our dad. God Bless!   "K144"  :)

Letter to my dad,
    As each day arrives, I keep hoping to wake up from the most horrible nightmare ever.  I just can not accept that you're not with us anymore. The last two weeks are just a blur to me. Judy, Henry, Janel and I are lost without you. We need our shepherd! I come to work everyday waiting for your call(addressing me by "Linda Michelle")beginning our conversation with "man I got problems" or "where's Janel, she dont answer her phone", oh what I would give to receive another one of those calls. I know one day this sadness too shall pass. Until then, miss you terribly!

Henry has cut my hair since the early 60's when he was first getting started.
I'll miss him, and the talks we used to have about the old neighborhood and the people we both knew.

My prayers go out to the Garcia family. Henry was my hair stylist for 34 years. We shared many stories, comradie and laughter. He always expressed love for his family and wanted the best for all. No matter how he felt, he always tried to keep a smile on his face to make people feel good.  I will miss him. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace.

I am proud to say Henry Gracia was a friend of mine. A Great Guy who loved his family and one of the Greatest Barber's ever. Henry started cutting my hair when I was in college in a shop over by Mt.Carmel. My deepest sympathy to all the Family and may God bless you all.

I grieve over the loss of my Dear Uncle Henry. I don't know how else to say it. Losing an uncle is devastating. My thoughts are with Henry Jr., Janel, Judy and Michelle.

To the Garcia family my deepest heartfelt condolence. Your father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend to so many, a good & dear friend to me, was one of nicest guys I have ever known. (And last of the greatest barbers around). I stepped  inside his shop 20+ years ago for a hair cut when I was new to the Almeda area, and from that moment he was my friend. Just the kind of guy he was easy to like always the same great attatude. I know you will miss him the same as all of us will. 
May our Dear Lord help you through these difficult and sad times. My prayers to all of you. RIP Henry my good friend until we meet again, thanks for being you and who you were.
