We were all extremely blessed to have experienced the lie that was Sister Helen Williams. She taught us to put God ahead of all else, be the best at whatever God calls you to do and love all Gods children. Her parents, John Marshall and Irene Green, welcomed her on June 15, 1931 in Glidden TX. Her family decided to take a chance with life in Columbus, TX; but ultimately decide to reside in San Antonio, TX. as a way to secure a better future for their family.
Helen understood the value of education, therefore while ;living in An Antonio, she attended Wheatley HS, San Antonio college and Durham Business College. With a solid education under her belt she made the move to Houston, TX to pursue a career that would provide advancement opportunities as well as stability for her family.
Wile living in Houston, she met John Williams. They were married soon after and had opportunity to create many lasting memories for over 20 years. He preceded her in death.
