She was married to James (Jimmy) Leroy Renner for 67 years.
Helen made a beautiful home for her family. She was a Charter member of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir at Faith UMC for decades as well as at several other UMC churches where she was a member earlier in her life. Helen joyfully served Faith and other UMC churches by teaching Sunday School, working with various women’s groups, and a multitude of opportunities to serve her church and community throughout her life. She was a dedicated worker for various employers, but the pinnacle of her career was working with many children during her years at Ben Milam Elementary School in Conroe.
She was predeceased by her loving spouse Jimmy; her parents J.C. and Mollie Bruckner Koinm; her sister Almeda Koinm Horton (Charles), her brother-in-law Charles Horton, her nephew Andy Horton; and her son-in-law Ted Hammett.
Helen is survived by her children Steve Renner, Becky Renner Hammett (Ted), Mollie Renner Husman (David); 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
