She was married to Don Albert Nelson for 42 years until his passing in 2011.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Juanita McNair Frank, and Daughter Joann Nelson.
She is survived by her son Don Edward Nelson and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Kaleigh Mubasher and husband Rami, Justin Nelson, Carly Zanella and husband Jake, and Montana Nelson; great grandchildren, Kadyn, Kaini, Zeina, and Isaiah Mubasher, Paxtyn and Beau Zanella; brothers, Jack Victor Frank (Vic), Luther Bierwirth Jr.; Sister Jackie Clark; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ann loved the Holidays and spending time with family, in her younger years she enjoyed horses and going on trail rides with her husband and family. In her later years she enjoyed going to play bingo with her friends. She also loved spending time and having conversations about old memories with her lifelong friend of 54 years Janie Tovar. Her heart will now be at peace to be reunited with her husband Don and daughter Joann. She will be greatly missed by her son Don Edward (little Don) her Grandchildren and all who loved her.
A visitation for Helen will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
