Helen Marie (Pavlacka) Mikel

Helen was born in Ennis, Texas on April 2, 1929 to parents Stanley and Jewel Pavlacka. She attended St. John Catholic School and was named Valedictorian of her graduating class. She also was the last surviving member of her class.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Bob L. Mikel, parents Stanley Pavlacka and Jewel Absher, Sister Margaret Tipping, Brother David Pavlacka and Great Grandson Lucas Bryan Mikel.

Helen is survived by her 5 children, Steven Mikel, Debra Goldsmith, Douglas Mikel, Karen Bartkowiak and Patrick Mikel, Siblings: Dorothy Langer and Eugene Pavlacka, numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM followed by a Rosary 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
