Helen Louise Martin

Helen Louise Martin, age 94, passed away in Houston, Texas on December 24, 2019. Helen was born in Hagan, NM on October 20, 1925, the daughter of Steve and Antonia (Milosevich) Radosevich. She grew up in the Gallup, NM area, graduated from Gallup High School and worked at the Fort Wingate Ordinance Depot. She married Thomas Smith Martin in 1958. For about 25 years Tom and Helen ran Martin Distributing in Gallup. They retired to Rio Rancho, NM in 1982 where they enjoyed playing golf and bridge, travelling and going to the local casinos. Tom passed in 2011 and Helen moved to Houston in December of 2017 to be closer to her son Lee. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Tom, brothers and sisters Anne Petranovich, Mary Mihelcic, Rose Mary Plese, Jack Radosevich, Dorothy Capps and Bill Radosevich. She is survived by her son Thomas Leland Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Helen’s wishes there will be no formal services and in lieu of flowers requests that donations to the Alzheimer’s Association be made in her name.
