Helen Y. Kraus

Helen Yvonne Kraus was born on August 2, 1927 in Middleport New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Glenna Fritz, her sister Dorothy Albone,her granddaughter Barbara Ann Mosure, and her loving husband Irving John Kraus who died on January 26, 1993. She graduated from Roy Hart High School in 1945. She married her husband Irving in 1956. She had two children, Sharon Lee Barker and David John Kraus. Her daughter Sharon has three children, Teresa, Jeffery, and Beth. David and Barbara Kraus have one child, Hillary. Helen and Irving lived most of their lives in Lockport New York. She moved to Houston, Texas with Irving in 1979 and worked for Mitchell Energy until she retired in 1995. After 1995, she lived part of the time in Las Vegas, and part of the time with her son David, and his family, helping him with his bowling business. She loved to work, play bingo, bowl, her grandchildren, and horseracing. She was a pure optimist, enjoyed life to the fullest, and will be greatly missed by her friends and her family. She died April 3, 2012.
