He was born to Cayetano Alcazar and Aurora Alcazar, July 9th, 1960, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Wheatley High School in 1980. He married Myrna Ascension Cabrera in 2003, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised four children.
He is survived by his 7 children: Antonio L. Alcazar, Hector L. Alcazar Jr., Angel C. Alcazar, Xavier R. Alcazar, Bianca Y. Alcazar, Joshua A. Alcazar, and Ani S. Alcazar. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren. Alina Alcazar, Aubrey Alcazar, Aria Alcazar, Abel Alcazar, Gabriel Alcazar, and Lunabelle Alcazar.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his sisters Rosa Maria Patino, Rita Mesojednik, Maria del Carmen Zapata, Elizabeth Jasso. Also, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cayetano and Aurora. His brother Ricardo Galindo and his wife Myrna Ascencion Cabrera.
Hector Alcazar worked as a mechanic all his life. He enjoyed saltwater fishing, listening to classic rock at absurd levels, and eating crawfish with his family.
A memorial service is scheduled for May 9th, 2023, at 5pm at Forest Park Lawndale. Deacon Allen Frederickson will officiate the ceremony. In lieu of flowers the family requests that monetary donations be given to the family members or made via a GoFundMe that was created to assist any financial grievances.
