Heather Dawn Muldoon

Heather was born on May 5, 1973, to Frank and Linda Correll in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After graduating from Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1991 she went on to graduate with a B.S in Chemical Engineering from The University of Tulsa.

After graduation, she landed her first job as a Process Engineer for KBR, which brought her to Houston, kicking off a highly successful 27-year career in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries for both domestic and international projects.

In 1998 she met Shawn Muldoon, which began a beautiful love story. They wed in 1999 going on to have two amazing children, Tommy and Kylie. Heather was a loving wife, dedicated mom, avid athlete, brilliant engineer and a mentor and role model for so many, especially young women in her industry. Heather was also an active member of her church community at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.

Heather was predeceased by her mother, Linda Jones and her brother Eric Rule. She is survived by her husband Shawn and children Tommy and Kylie Muldoon, parents Frank and Ursula Correll, step-parents Richard and Amy Rule, siblings Christopher, Morgan, Alexandra, Lauren and Nicole, and step-siblings Ryan, Alec and Claire Rule.

Visitation for Heather will be held at the Brookside Funeral Home - Cypress Creek in Houston, Texas on November 21st, 2022 from 5PM to 9PM. The Rosary will be prayed at 7PM. A funeral mass will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Houston, Texas at 11 AM on November 22nd, 2022. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. The graveside internment will follow the reception.

The family requests donations in lieu of flowers to either the American Heart Association or Catholic Charities.
