On Sunday, February 4, 2024, our sweet, beautiful, beloved daughter, sister, niece and cousin, Heather Marie Hennessy Smith passed from this life to rest in the arms of Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother.
Heather was born on the 13th of April,1980, in Houston, Texas to William Robert Hennessy and Mary Catherine Moore.
She graduated from Lamar High School and worked in the oil and gas industry, before dedicating herself to the prevention of cruelty to animals.
She became a vet-tech, started her own pet sitting and boarding company and worked with animal rescue organizations. Heather was the sweetest, kindest and most forgiving person anyone could know unless she caught someone mistreating an animal.
On the 30th of April 2015, Heather married the love of her life, Michael T. Smith III. She lost her husband and best friend with Michael’s sudden passing on October 22nd, 2021.
Heather is survived by her father, William Robert Hennessy and his wife Karyn, mother, Mary Catherine Moore and her husband, Gary, sister, Meaghan Brown and her husband, Cletus, brother, Connor Hennessy, his wife, Ale and their daughter Giulia, sister, Kathleen Villalva and her husband, Ferrell. Heather was loved and is already missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.
