Hazel was a native Houstonian and longtime resident of Timber Grove Manor. Born February 1, 1924 to Albert B. Blankenship and Martha Ellen Blankenship. Survived by numerous cousins, and many close friends. Professionally, she worked in the accounting department at Wyatt Industries for over twenty five years. She was beloved member of Grace United Methodist Church. She served as church school secretary as well as being a devoted food pantry volunteer for many years.
Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, at Grace United Methodist Church, 1245 Heights Blvd. Houston, TX 77008 with Rev. Hill Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairbanks Cemetery.
