Harvey B. Brown, 86, of Spring, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2017. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 14, 1931. Harvey graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. He was married to Betty Jo Brown on April 20, 1955.
Harvey worked for Shell Oil Company at the Deerpark Chemical Plant. Harvey had a passion for the Astros baseball team, reading, and gardening.
Harvey is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Betty Jo Brown, parents, Jasper Brown, Demetrius Brown, grandparents, siblings; Demetrius Weid, Jasper J. Brown Jr., Sarah”Bet” Ross and Robert Brown.
Harvey is survived by his daughters, Renee Brown and Karen Waits, son-in-law Monty Waits, grandchildren; Christoher Holland, Kourtney Holland, Nichole Waits, Desire Sweeten, Monty Waits, Melody Waits, Harley Ann Brown, great-grandchildren, Cain and Shyloh, sister, Jonell Callaway and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home from 10 am to 11 am. The Funeral Service will be at 11 am following internment at Brookside Memorial Park.
