He was born in Houston on the 15th of May 1992. Harrison graduated in May 2011 from Memorial High School, where he lettered in football and track. He was a passionate young man and impacted everyone he met in a warm, positive manner. He never met a stranger and was a loving friend to all. Harrison enjoyed traveling with his family and friends. He worked out every chance that he got and took pride in being physically fit. Harrison was exuberant about starting school at the University of Arizona this coming fall and becoming a Wildcat.
Harrison is survived by his parents, the Honorable Glenn Hunter Devlin and Nancy Douglas Devlin; his sister, Sarah; his brother, Charles; and his grandmothers: Virginia Douglas of Houston and Bea Devlin-Little of San Antonio. He is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, the late Robert J. Douglas and Joseph P. Devlin.
An instant of despair created an indescribable loss for the entire family and his friends. Each day, we will thank the Lord for having Harrison in our lives for nineteen short years.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o'clock in the afternoon until seven o'clock in the evening on Saturday, the 23rd of July, in the Library and Grand Foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A celebration of Harrison’s life is to be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 24th of July, in the Sanctuary of Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee Lane in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Michael L. Fry, Pastor of Congregational Care, is to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent Massey-Tucker Fellowship Hall.
Prior to the service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
