He was born February 17, 1934, the last child to Julius and Ola Mae Nash of Groveton, Texas and brother to the late, Julius Nash Jr.
Harold grew up working with his father framing houses and other carpentry jobs. The knowledge that his father instilled in him gave him the inspiration to go out and start his own business, Harold Nash Custom Cabinet and Trim.
Harold on January 3, 1954 married the love of his life, Gloria Hughes. They raised five children, which grew as they married. They include Shelly Nash, Fonda and husband Fines Geeslin, Harrold Nash Jr., Theresa and husband Thurman Gregory, Lois and husband Richard Pennington. The family enlarged over the years into 24 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Harold enjoyed his coffee and watching the birds, squirrels and rabbits eating at the feeders in the backyard. He loved family gatherings and loving on the little ones. He showed his love by making custom furniture for the family and helping them with their home construction projects. He would spend hours and hours with family and friends telling his stories, going fishing, hunting, and just joking around.

Thank you for gathering here with us to say "We will see you soon". As we know you all feel the same as we do. We are blessed to have known a wonderful, loving, treasure of a man, that we've had the pleasure of calling "Daddy". He has traveled home to heaven to help in the carpentry of our home coming. Daddy is now rejoicing at the thrown of God. And God has a plan for each of us, to be with him again. Thank you for coming to celebrate the legacy of Harold Nash, --- by daughter, Fonda
