Harel Jack Shelton, Jr. passed away on June 20, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1959 to parents Harel Jack Shelton Sr. and Alta Ray Bradshaw Shelton in Houston, Texas. Harel was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by step-son Teddy Turner, Jr.; mother Alta Ray Shelton; brothers: Alan Shelton, Dale Shelton, Sr. and Steve Shelton; sisters: Judy Hejl and Denise Ferguson and numerous nieces, nephew and a host of friends. Jack is preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Shelton and father Harel Jack Shelton, Sr.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, June 27, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park & Cemetery.
