Gwendolyn Bernice Singleton, age 64, of New Caney, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 4, 2016 in Humble, Texas. She was born, April 2, 1951 in Silsbee, Texas to parents Alford Trotty and Minnie V. Prescott Trotty, who preceded her in death.
Gwendolyn is survived by her husband of 28 years Ronnie Singleton; brother Henry Hebert Trotty and his wife Lois; sisters: Marie Louise Trotty Lane and her husband Dalton and Judy Van Trotty Butcher and her husband Authur and a host of friends.
Gwendolyn worked as a nurse for 42 years in the Houston Area. The loving, giving and caring nature of Gwendolyn will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home.
