Guadalupe Torres Reyes, 82, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 6, 1937 in San Pedro, Coahuila Mexico to Wenseslado and Sara Torres Reyes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosendo Gonzales and grandson, Eddie Gonzales. Guadalupe is survived by her children, Norma Gonzales and husband Daniel Hernandez, Arthur Arce and wife Irene and Christian Reyes; grandchildren, Thaddeus Marks, Jr., Andrew Christian Estrada, and Danyelle Hernandez; brother, Roberto Reyes and his wife Juanita; nieces, Idalia De La Torre and husband Bernando, Sara Diaz and husband Ruben, Isabel Gomez and husband Pedro, Rosa Gomez and husband Manuel, Martha Berger and husband Joseph, Josefina Gomez and husband Miguel, Claudia Garza and husband Rolando; nephews, Juan Gomez and wife Raquel, Jose Luis Gomez and wife Patricia and Francisco Gonzalez and wife Maria. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
