Gricelda Ayala, affectionately known as "Sister Ayala", passed away peacefully at her home in Houston, TX on Friday, December 9, 2022. Gricelda was born on March 30,1961 to Julio and Margarita Nieto. She was the second of her parent's five children.
Gricelda was a strong woman just as strong as her faith and love for her Heavenly Father Jehovah. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God for 34 years. Gricelda was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 18,1988 and served her God faithfully until her death.
She loved going to the beach with her parents and brothers when she was a young child and in her teenage years. She found the Love of her life Raul Ayala and got married to him October 19,1979. They had two children Richard and Amanda that they loved very much, she watched her children grow up and have children of their own, Jorge, Rosa, Rosendo and baby Briceyda.
She spent her life teaching her children, grandchildren and others about the Bible. She deeply studied the Bible and shared what she learned. Her proudest family moment was seeing both of her children get married and being there to see all four grandkids. Her proudest career accomplishment was getting baptized as a Jehovah Witness.
Pastimes and hobbies she enjoyed: learning about Jehovah, making jewelry, spending every Friday with her children and grandchildren.
Gricelda deeply believed in the Bible's promise of resurrection to a life where the earth will be restored to a paradise. She awaits the resurrection of loved ones who preceded her in death, her parents Julio and Margarita, her sibling Roman, nephew Charles and others she loved.
Serving as pallbearers are Raul Ayala, Richard Ayala, Arturo Gonzalez, Jorge Rubio Jr., Elias Ayala Jr. and Sadrach Ayala .
