He was born in Houston on May 4, 1996 and was a happy, delightful child. Full of curiosity, he loved baseball and animals, particularly dogs. He had a heart for the underdog and was known for his kindness and protective instincts.
After graduation from Sterling High School in Baytown, he attended Blinn College and then Texas State University, where he studied finance, economics, and philosophy. He served as a leader on the university’s prestigious Student Managed Investment Fund team, earning the respect of fellow students and his professors, graduating with a degree in finance in 2020. He secured a position as a compliance analyst with Pacific Investment Management Corporation and resided in Austin with his beloved bullmastiff Sam and his girlfriend Sarah Goldstein.
He is survived by his mother Karen Little, his father Wesley Nance, his sister Megan Swagerty and her husband and sons, his stepmother, and stepsisters.
Forest Park Lawndale in Houston will host the visitation on Thursday, January 11 at 6:00 pm, as well as the service on Friday, January 12 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Safe in Austin Animal Rescue.
