Gordon L. McIntyre, 87, of Missouri City, Texas passed away May 14, 2016. He was born in Portland, Oregon on January 13, 1929 to parents Roy Neal and Cornelia Johanna McIntyre. Gordon proudly served the United States Army. He married Bruna on July 4, 1948. He had a passion for reading, mathematics, playing golf, listening to classical and Jazz music, gardening and growing tomatoes, zucchini, and lettuce, and in his most recent years, Gordon loved to play Bingo – he usually won most games.
Gordon is survived by his daughter Christine Turczyn; sons Michael McIntyre, Thomas McIntyre, and Kevin McIntyre; grandchildren Brian Haney, Jonathan Haney, Marissa Turczyn, Daniel McIntyre, Kevin McIntyre, and Kathryn McIntyre. He is preceded in death by his wife beloved Bruna McIntyre.
A committal service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10:00am at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
