Gloria Joyce Markovich entered into rest on Wednesday,July 31, 2013 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born October 29, 1921 in Houston, Texas and was a former South Belt area resident.
Gloria worked as a bookkeeper for Wilson Supply until her retirement in 1978. She was a devout Christian, an accomplished ball room dancer and an avid reader. She had the unique ability of adapting to any environment she was in and despite moving several times during her golden years, she always made friends quickly and enjoyed herself. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Bronko Markovich, her parents, Dick & Simmie Le Blanc, and her sisters, Doris Geist and Dorothy Margheim. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A graveside service officiated by Dr. Darrell Coats, will be held at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway (Lauder Road and Hwy 59 North) at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2013.
