Gloria Esta Cast

Gloria Esta Vine Cast, passed away on October 30, 2013, in Houston, Texas. She was born on February 6, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Cast grew up in Waco, TX and graduated from Waco High School in 1946. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Edward Cast, cherished aunts Mabel Sullivan and Ruby Jeanes, and son-in-law Kenneth G. Warfield. She is survived by three children, Linda Warfield Aanstoos and husband Mike of Houston, Larry William Cast and wife Margarita of Pearland, and Laura Karen Stuff and husband David of Houston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren (Amy, Julie, Andrew, Melanie, Lisa, Michael, and Paul) who lovingly called her "Hoppy" and "Mammow", and by three great-granddaughters (Anna, Sophia, and Sarah). Her sister-in-law Fagan Mosley Davis of Huntsville, Alabama and cousin Terry Sullivan of Denton, Texas also survive her.

She was a longtime dedicated member of First Baptist Bellaire and later, West University Baptist Church. Faith, family, and friends were always her priorities in life.The family extends deepest gratitude to the staff and employees of Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care Services, and to special friends Lynn Hollingsworth and Doris Hurst, for their loving care and attention during Mrs. Cast's six year residency at Seven Acres. There will be a visitation held on Fri. 11/1 from 6-8 pm at Forest Park Westheimer. The funeral service begins at 1 pm on Sat. 11/2, in the main Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer. Interment to follow.
