Praying for your family.  Gloria is rejoicing and reaping her rewards in heaven.  

Gloria was one of my best friends. We met on my wedding day almost 53 years ago. Gloria & I were members of the same church for many years.  During those years we shared lots of great moments.  We shared our kid’s births, graduations, weddings and lots of stories of our grandkids.  We enjoyed gospel concerts, trips and vacations together.  
Gloria & I had a special friendship that did not  require us to talk daily, weekly, not even monthly.  However, every time we talked, we would pick up where we left off.
I miss my dear friend so much, but, I know where  she is and I will see her again!  Gloria’s faith was solid as a rock, it never wavered!
Family, I pray that the Lord will fill the void in your heart and that he will comfort  you as only you can.


My cousin Gloria was a remarkable woman, such a sweet soul, very elegant and kind. One memory I will never forget, as she and I share the same birthday, for my 12th birthday, she gave me my 1st piece of James Avery, which was a dangling ring with a Dove. She will be missed greatly missed.  

Gloria, my cousin, was always such an elegant and poised woman that I looked up to. She was also very down to earth and so warm and friendly. She will be greatly missed. I’ll see you one day again in Heaven.

Gloria was my first assistant at TCB 1972-74. She was fantastic, great sense of humor, excellent at her job, very polite but not awed, professional as the day is long. She went on to great success at TCB which was a super bank. RIP Gloria! Bob Ittner



So sorry to read about Gloria's death.
I started at the bank in 1968 and Gloria was in the Credit Department.   She ALWAYS had a smile on her face and was very professional.  I left TCB in the 1980's and the few times we visited afterward we always joked how her hair color had naturalized, like mine several years eariler.  She will be missed by many.  God bless to her family.

Gloria was a beautiful lady with a warm smile. I worked with her at Texas Commerce Bank when she was Charlie Beall's  right hand. She was always so willing to help and knowledgeable about how to get things done. Priceless to the young banker I was then.  Please accept my regards and condolences for your family.   Pam

Gloria my cousin, you will be missed so much, I always looked up to you and you were such an elegant bright person. Always positive and smiling.  Glad we got to visit not long ago but seems its never enough.   You will leave a big hole in our future. RIP!  

I was so sorry to read of Gloria's passing in the paper.  I worked with her for many years at Texas Commerce.  She was an outstanding employee and a wonderful friend...one of the nicest people I ever worked with.  She was always happy to help anyone.  I'm 5 years older than Gloria, but like her, I graduated from Jeff Davis in 1961 and went to work at the (then) National Bank of Commerce.  We both worked through several mergers and I worked for Ben Love the last 15 years prior to his retirement in 1992.  I've worked for Bill Heiligbrodt since Ben's retirement and he and Corinne join me in sending you our most sincere sympathy.  She loved her family so much and I know they will miss her more than words can say.

I will miss you sister Gloria. You were my Sunday school teacher and always kept me in your prayers growing up. Thank you. 

Gloria was one of the finest ladies that I have ever met.  She was my first assistant on the lending floor at Texas Commerce Bank and she got my career off to a great start.  She knew who in the bank to call for every problem that my customers threw at me.  And they would all jump when she asked them to help.  My customers thought I was a star but it was really all Gloria.   

She is most certainly in a better place today and making all around here better by her presence.

I’ll will never forget how her face lite up when she spoke of you. She was so very proud of you and loved you so much. My prayers are with you. 

Gloria and her siblings are my second cousins. She loved family and we loved to ‘explore the branches’ of our family tree. Gloria was always a joy to visit with. She, Yolanda and I visited most recently in December. Sadly, it was at my mother’s funeral, but these were the things that brought us together many times recently. I will truly miss our conversations, but we shared the same faith, so I know where she is and it’s where I aim to be one day. Until we meet again….
