Glenda Joy Smallwood was born on May 24, 1947, in Texas City, Texas. She was the daughter of June and Johnny Smallwood. Glenda married Dennis Harold Varner in Fort Stockton, Texas, on July 24, 1965. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Glenda worked for Masoneilan/Dresser as a graphic designer during the 1980s through the mid 1990s.
Glenda was preceeded in death by her husband, Dennis Varner. She is survived by her son James Varner and his wife Sandy of League City, Texas, and son Jeff Varner and his wife Becky of Conroe, Texas. Her grandchildren include Kyle, Todd, Rachael, Amanda and Christopher Varner. Glenda is also survived by her brothers, siblings-in-law, and many neices, nephews and cousins.
