Gioan Baotixita Nguyễn V. Tuyến (Tiên)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gioan Baotixita Nguyễn V. Tuyến, affectionately known as Tiên, of Arlington, TX. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 66.

Born on May 15, 1958, in Vietnam, Tiên was the second eldest son in a loving family of eight children. He dedicated his life to his work as a machinist, where he skillfully built and fabricated materials that served many industries, embodying a spirit of diligence and craftsmanship.

A devoted member of the Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, Tiên found joy in his faith, and his love for cooking and gardening brought warmth to all who knew him. He cherished the time spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

Tiên is preceded in death by his father, Nguyễn Kim Thanh. He is survived by his loving mother, Tran Thi Ruyen; his devoted wife, Kathy Nguyễn; and his cherished children: sons John, Tony, and Kevin Nguyễn, and daughter Michelle Nguyễn. He also leaves behind his beloved stepdaughters, Diem Nguyễn, Trinh Huynh, and Linda Nguyễn.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at a Mass at the Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, located at 10610 Kingspoint Rd, Houston, TX 77075, on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will follow at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.

Tiên's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
