He was a native Houstonian and attended Lamar High School graduating in 1976.
For almost 40 years, Les worked in the Oil and Gas Industry. He ended his career at Cooper Cameron/Schlumberger as a lead designer in Research and Development.
Les was a Life Time Committee Member of the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo and served on the Armed Forces Committee and the Ticket Committee.
One of Les’ passions was gardening. There was not a seed or plant Les could not grow. He loved creating beautiful silk flower arrangements, holiday creations, and candle making. He was a culinarian and enjoyed cooking a wide variety of cuisines.
He was particularly blessed when it came to his loyal group of lifelong friends, Pam Pfost, Priscilla and Tommy Caldwell, Karl and Kim Biggs, and Carl Brooks.
Les was known throughout his life as a person who was young at heart, always had a smile on his face, lived life to the fullest and had a wicked sense of humor and wit.
He is survived by his loving sister, Jeanie Rae Kincannon, many cousins and their families.
