Gerry Leo Johnson, 61, of Houston, Texas, entered eternal rest July 25, 2019. He was born December 18, 1957 in Houston, Texas. Gerry attended and graduated from Forest Brook High School. On April 2, 1988, Gerry married the love of his life, Ella McCoy. He worked for the City of Houston and was a member of the Ryde AZ 1 MC. Gerry had a passion for working hard and riding his motorcycle. Gerry will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie B. & Fannie D. Johnson; and brother: Ronald Johnson. Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 33 years: Ella Johnson; children: Autrae Randall, Howard Rigsby, Shondra McCoy, and Keith Richardson; siblings: Janice Johnson-Senegall, Darlene Johnson, and Pamela Johnson; granddaughter: Shonkendria Patterson.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 9am with the funeral service to begin promptly at 11am. Services will take place at Grace Cathedral Church, 9410 Mesa Dr., Houston, Texas 77028 Interment to follow immediately after the funeral service in Brookside Memorial Park.
