Gerry Hoover was born on April 10, 1938 and sadly, after many years of ill-health, Gerry passed February 15, 2013 from a stroke, the only possible thing that could quiet her lively spirit and force her separation from her adored husband.
Gerry is survived by her husband of 44 years John Hoover, two sisters, one brother, one son, many grandchildren, and a legion of devoted friends.
Her analytical mind harbored a tremendous source of information, which she readily applied to her careers. Her knowledge of business was outstanding. She held a variety positions over the years being successful in them all. Indeed, life was never dull as is often expressed by husband John. Whether they were entertaining politicians, teenage rock bands, or a three year old grandchild they had a blast doing it. The world won’t be as warm and sweet or as enjoyable without her keen observations of life and expressions of love.
Gerry’s family would like for you to join them at her memorial service celebrating her life on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M.
