Mother of the Church...
Geraldine Shepherd, we know her best as Mother Shepherd. While she was the sister of our founder of God’s Family of Deliverance Temple (GFODT) Apostle Wonderful Ryan, Mother Shepherd was so much more than that. She was one of the founding members, a pillar grounded in the foundation of this ministry. She served as Treasurer, a Minister on staff, Praise Leader, Pastor’s confidant, Counselor, Mother of the Church, this tribute cannot hold the full array of service that Mother Shepherd provided.
The Love for this God sent Angel can never be placed into a proper tribute, her service and life spoke more effectively to that. This Angel loved God and God loved this, Angel. We at GFODT were so blessed by God, he placed numerous jewels of this same rarity and precious variety within GFODT.
Apostle W. Ryan, Pastor E. King, Evangelist L. King, Minister R.Townsend, Prophetess A. Thomas, words will never express the enormous emptiness left by the homegoing of our beloved Mother Shepherd, but we can carry on in the knowledge that she rests in the arms of someone greater than ourselves. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God required another watchman in Heaven.
Someone to stand watch for the lost and broken hearted souls, the forgotten souls, those downtrodden souls, God in his infinite wisdom could not have chosen a more appropriate candidate for this task. Your place in the hearts of all the members of GFODT is rooted like that tree that is planted by the river that cannot be moved. We Love you Mother Shepherd.
