

Georgia Andrews Littlejohn, 84, passed peacefully on March 3rd, surrounded by family. Georgia was born March 22nd in Helena, Arkansas to John and Sula Andrews and spent her childhood in Greenwood, MS. She graduated from Greenwood, High School and shortly thereafter, moved with her family to Houston.
She became an Eastern Star and Worked at Baroid. In 1955, she married Oliver Porter Littlejohn. After raising her family, Georgia worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Principal of Fondren Middle School. Upon her retirement, she served for 15 years as a proud volunteer at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. During her service, she held the positions of President of the Auxiliary and President of the President's Council. Georgia enjoyed life to its fullest.
Her enthusiasm for life and sense of humor brought light to all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, sports, gardening and spending time with her family & friends. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents Jon and Sula Andrews, siblings Gus, Louis, Chris, Jimmy, baby brother George, Helen Andrews Apostolis and Angie Andrews Moore as well as borthers-in-law Soterios (Ted) Apostolis and Jack Moore.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Oliver, son, Mark Andrew Littlejohn, wife Cheryl, and daughter, Christine (Chrissy), husband Joe Hagle and grandchildren, Matt, Ben and Laura Littlejohn and Nicholas Hagle. She and her niece, Maria Apostolis Newton, shared a special bond. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Margie Andrews, Barbara Schroeder, brother-in-law, J.P. Littlejohn and may other relatives and cherished friends.
Trisagion Service and visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079 on Tuesday, March 8th at 6 pm. Funeral Service will be offered at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral 3511 Yoakum Blvd., Houston, TX 77006, on Wednesday, March 9th at 10 am. Interment will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Reception to follow.
