George, or Ronnie as he was affectionately called by friends and family, graduated from CH Yoe High School and his beloved Prairie View A & M University. During his time at Prairie View he was a member of the football team, Panther Club, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
George married his high school sweetheart Patricia Watson Whiteside on March 25, 1982. To this union, a daughter, Berry Whiteside was born.
George leaves to cherish his memories his wife Patricia Whiteside and daughter Berry Whiteside of Houston, Texas; brothers William (Nykia) Whiteside of Houston, Texas and Alvis (Phobie) Whiteside of Rockdale, Texas; sister Dr. Sheila (John) Valentine of Pearland, Texas; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Berry Whiteside, as well as his brother Vaughn Whiteside.
