George Arthur Rowley

George Arthur Rowley, (1955 - 2012) passed away April 18, 2012. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and spent the last 37 years in Houston. George was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Guy Rowley and Billie Jeanette Rowley.

He is survived by his sisters, Susie Rowley, Jean Oliver, and Carole Ruthardt, his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and wonderful lifelong friends. George loved the outdoors and was an enthusiastic hunter and expert shooter. He hunted all over the globe with his favorites being South Texas and Uruguay. George had a gift for woodworking and made scores of custom furniture and custom cabinetry for the high end Houston market. George was an exuberant story teller, fun loving, and the life of the party. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday,April 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hunters Creek Chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024.
