George Roth

He was born July 5, 1924, in Yorktown, TX, to the late Charles and Augusta (Stoeltje) Roth, the youngest of 9 children. George was a World War II Veteran serving in the South Pacific and Japan. After the war he joined the business world employed by Alenco in Bryan and a few years later became an owner of his own business and then CEO of Krestmark in Dallas. He was a loving husband and father. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Doris Nell Roth; sons, Jack Roth, James Roth, Earl Scofield, Ed Scofield, and daughter, Deborah Miles; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Chiles and Lottie Weiland.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, September 11th, in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors.
