He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 18, 1955. George attended a private boy’s school in Maryland and also attended Memorial High School once he and his parents moved to Houston. He was married to Margie Dziedzic Krug for almost 15 years.
George worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the city of West University Place, Gulf Printing, and Scientific Drilling until he retired. He was a sergeant in the Air Force, serving 2 years in Okinawa and 2 years in Washington D.C in the 76th Military Airlift Wing, and 1100th Air Base Group. He had a passion for trains, traveling, games, snow skiing, and loved all holidays.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George H. Krug Jr. and Shirley Joan Miller Krug.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00pm, November 11, 2023 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
