Gene Kunkel died on April 13, 2018 from complications following surgery. He was 88.
Gene is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Michael Cockrell; son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Deborah Kunkel; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Pauline Kunkel; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.
Gene served in the U.S. Army. He was an active member and served on many committees at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Gene was also an avid bike rider.
Visitation will be at St. Mark Lutheran Church on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. followed by a service at 1:30 p.m.
