Gary Wayne Nesrsta

Gary proudly served his country as a Sargent in the U.S. Army based in Ft. Polk, LA. In addition, he worked full time as an assembly line worker for General Electric Company and belonged to the IBEW Union of Electrical Workers until he retired in 1987. During his early adult years, he had enjoyed being a HAM Radio Operator; he proudly sported his call letters “K5HJW” on the specialty license plate of his 1960 Chevy that had an enormous antenna mounted on the bumper. He could fix anything; often tinkering with cars and other various items. When he wasn’t tinkering, you could find him fishing and cooking. Gary especially loved his annual vegetable garden, from which he fed his family well and often. He also loved his animals, cats and dogs alike. His family was everything to him.

He was predeceased by his parents Rudy and Evelyn Nesrsta, along with his first wife “the love of my life”, and mother of his children, Carolyn Caskie Nesrsta of 27 years and his second wife Margret Ann St. John Nesrsta of 29 years. He is survived by his brother Richard Nesrsta and his spouse Donna Nesrsta. His four daughters and their spouses, Bridget and Dennis Roberts, Sharon and Boston Swenson, Peggy and Miles Coco and Janet and John Lee. Grandchildren Craig Gilliam, Shane Nesrsta, Sarah Burke, Misty Anderson and Brittany Lee, and their spouses. Great Grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah Nelson, Kadence and Peyton Nesrsta, Jackson Gilliam, Emma Anderson and Hunter Lee Srkala. Niece Susan Krolczyk Andhal, Nephews Henry Victor Krolczyk Jr., Christian Krolczyk, Elliot Krolczyk, Anthony Krolczyk and Timothy Krolczyk and their spouses.
