Gail Hughes Trice

Gail Hughes made her debut when her parents welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world on November 17, 1949. Gail was the big sister to 3 brothers: Nelson, Ron and Greg. Born in Austin but moved to Houston while still young and it would remain home base for the rest of her life.

Gail would graduate as a proud Mustang from Memorial High School and head back to Austin to attend The University of Texas. It was while she was at UT that she met her future husband Mike.

Gail was a world-traveller and always enjoyed the finer things in life, but most important to her we were husband Mike and her son Brandon. She was able to travel the world, live in many exciting countries and experience some amazing adventures. She especially loved living in Paris and New Orleans, but would always call Houston home.

We will miss her spirit, love, and her incredible homemade Caesar Salad. But we find peace in knowing that she is finally at rest and reunited with the love of her life, Mike.

She was a loving mother.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Mike and son David Aaron.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday February 25, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery. 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
