Gabe & Ally, 
I am so grateful to have known you both at the beginning of your love. It's a gift that I am sure few have. My favorite memories are of the many evenings spent studying the Word in our living room when we, like you, were experiencing young love. You were the two who first held Elias. When no family was around, you were that family for us. I will treasure that moment for life. I will always remember how nervous Gabe was to hold Eli. It was a joy to see the many pictures of him holding his own baby. It is so strange to think that you both are the age that Ryan and I were when we first met. We are so thankful for your friendship and are honored to have met you as high school sweethearts. 

Ally & Bernie
You have been and will continue to be in our hearts, minds, and prayers. The whole family (Eli and Freya too) have been praying for peace and comfort in your hearts and minds. We know that the God of all peace will take care of your during this tremendously difficult time.  We love you both and will continue to pray for strength.

To Olga and Richard,
 Nothing is more tragic than the loss of a child.  We share your deepest sorrows as our times in Virginia brought our families together. Gabby was a joy then and grew to be a wonderful young man. Our hearts go out to your family and everyone who was blessed to have known Gabby.
