Gabriel served in the United States Navy for four and a half years. Gabriel was pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice with the goal of becoming a Texas Game Warden. When home on leave in Houston, Gabriel was proud to serve as an usher at St. Albert's of Trapani. In his free time, Gabriel enjoyed spending time in nature, and he especially enjoyed fishing and birding. Above all, his greatest pride was being a father.
Gabriel is survived by his wife, Alexandria Schultz; and his daughter, Bernadette Schultz. He is also survived by his parents, Richard and Olga Schultz; and his sister, Jeanne Corro-Schultz. Additionally, he is survived by his grandparents, Fernando and Angeles Guzman, and his grandmother Katherine Wright.
A funeral mass is to be offered at twelve o'clock noon on Thursday, the 10th of March, at St. Albert of Trapani Catholic Church, 11027 S. Gessner Drive in Houston, where Rev. Vincent Tran, Pastor, will celebrate.
A reception with the family will immediately follow, via escorted cortege, in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
To honor Gabriel, we ask that people plant a tree or pollinator-friendly flowers in his honor.
