Freddie Kennelly

Freddie Gene Kennellly, 79, entered into eternal rest on February 24, 2015. He was preceeded in death by his mother, Frona Fetchner Kennelly and father, Harmon Kennelly. Also, preceeding in his death are his brothers: Bill Kennelly, Chester Kennelly and sister, Dorothy Kennelly Thomas. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Kennelly Melear, 93. He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Martha Byers Kennelly. Freddie is survived by two children: Marcie Kennelly Wofford and husband Gary Wofford; Brad Kennelly and wife Colleen Cooley Kennelly; grandfather of three: Madison Zapf and husband Riley Zapf; Katelyn Deats and Eleanor Kennelly and great grandfather of Mason Zapf and Zoie Zapf. He leaves behind multiple neices & nephews. Freddie fought a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Freddie was a proud member of the United States Army. He attended masonary trade school, later becoming a small business owner of F.G. Kennelly Company. He built several Houston area churches, office buildings, and maintained Randall's and Gerland's grocery stores. His work can be seen all over the Greater Houston area. In his honor, please give to the Alzheimer's Association or attend the walks for research. He is now reunited with his beloved dog, Jasper Kennelly, who passed away last month.
