Freddie Dick Beken, 93, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born September 15, 1923 in Weimar, Texas to Fritz and Annie Beken. He was predeceased by his parents, Fritz and Annie Beken; son, Calvin Will; brothers, Dewy Beken and Owen Beken; sisters, Lilly Bigott, Ella Bullock, Ruby Sawyer, Ida Havard, Gertie Adams and Annie Lee Beken. Freddie is survived by his loving wife Elsie Beken; daughters, Joan Stanley, Beverly Lillard, Donna Gardner and husband Carlton, Brenda Petty and husband Curtis, Rhonda Lilly, Shirley McIlvain, Regina Shelton and husband Rick; sons, Robert Will, Randy Beken and wife Susan, George Will; 27 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 12-1 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with Funeral services beginning at 1PM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
