As the sun rose on April Fool’s Day Fred Deering went to be with the Lord. Fred was born on January 10, 1925 in McAlester, OK to parents Fred and Lillie Deering. During WWII, Fred served as a pilot in the U.S. Airforce. Fred is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Deering, and son, John Deering. He is also survived by his sister and children: Ann Westly and husband Stephen, Sue Ross and husband Randy, Bob Deering and wife Diane, Mike Deering and wife Peggy; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend that will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
