Hi Daddy! It's so hard to believe you're not here. I know you won't be forgotten and we will talk about you often. We have had so many great memories. I have been thinking of my childhood a lot the past few days and wow, we really did a lot of great things and have a lot of awesome memories of camping, vacations, fishing, and holidays. I am going to miss all of that with you! I know you're with me and watching me and the kids. I promise to keep the vow we made in the hospital. 
 I Love you daddy, tell Sammy hi for me. See you both in my dreams.

I remember when my parents lived on Loper St and you had the house on Southmore, we would visit with you all the time. Me and Safi were talking about when you got us a job working with you. You would drive that truck around town and we would help you unload it. I will always remember the  stories you shared with us. You gave us direction too and would get on our butts when we needed it. We will miss you dearly!

Popo your one of the greatest people I've ever gotten to know and I'm so grateful to call you my grandpa. Anything we ever needed you would be there for us. Even though you didn't get to know Aleeah very long I know you loved her with all your heart just like you did all your other grand kids.. Don't worry Aleeah will grow up and know who you are because I will tell her all our wonderful memories we have together. I love you Popo I can't wait until I get to see you again. :)

These past few days have been a struggle. I keep looking down at my phone and waiting for your call, but I see and hear nothing. I know you're in a better place and not hurting anymore, but it's still hard for me. I lost not only my dad, but my best friend. Dad, as you look down on me I would like to promise you a few things…

I promise to carry on your contagious smile. The same one that would light up a room the minute you walked in.
I promise to love harder and forgive faster.
I promise to be content, in every sense of the word.
I promise to grieve that absence of your physical being for only a moment. 
And then I promise to set you free.
I promise to never give up on others, 
even when I'm ready to give up on myself.

Daddy I want to thank you for being the best daddy in the world. I will miss you so much. Thank you for helping me with kids. especially bubba :) I cant wait to see you again. I love you daddy.

To a great man. You will be missed. You raised a great family who love you and respect you. You will forever be a part of my memories.

Popo, I want to thank you for taking the time to help raise me even though you didn't have to. Thank you for picking me up from school even when you didn't have the gass money. Thank you for telling me how proud you were of me all the time even when I wasn't doing anything. I will miss the birthday calls, the "popos in the house" when you walked in, the "are you losing weight" when you knew darn well I wasn't. But Mostly I will miss your embracing hug and the 100 million I love you's you gave me in the last 27 years. I can't imagine what this next year will be like without you and I can only hope that I can be a quarter of the person you were. 

I won't say goodbye because I know you will be watching us all. So until we meet again I'll be thinking about you and carry you in my heart always.
