Age 83, passed from this life on Monday February 27th, 2012. Frank was born in Dallas, Texas on October 17th, 1928 to Frank and Marie Toler. When he was only two months old his mother Marie died and his father moved them to Houston where they lived together with his grandfather. Both his father and grandfather worked for the railroad. The family attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church for many years. After Frank graduated from High School he attended the University of Montana and the University of Houston. He graduated from the University of Houston with degrees in History, Political Science and economics.
Frank joined the navy in 1951 and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1956. He was part of the Bay of Pigs Campaign on the beaches of south Florida in preparation for what may have come.
During Franks professional career he worked for Continental Airlines as the Southeast Regional sales Manager. Later he worked in the pharmaceutical industry and Safety Video sales and training.
Frank was an avid reader and loved reading about history, He was always a very Patriotic Citizen.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 33 years: Barbara Jane Toler of Columbus Texas, Mother Kathleen Toler of Richland Washington two sons; Tucker Morriss Toler and wife Rhonica of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Thom Norsworthy Toler and wife Cammile of Silt, Colorado. His Grandchildren: Rebekah E. Toler, Travid A Toler, Susanna C. Toler, Christopher T. Toler, Erika M. Toler, Kelly Toler and Cassie Robertson. He also had 10 great-grandchildren.
And his step-family who loved him dearly,
Step daughter;Cindy E. Williams of Houston,Texas. Step-son: John Michael Herrington of Cypress Texas and step-grandchildren: Richard L. Patterson,Jr. and wife Lisa, Michelle R. Stubbs and husband Dereck, Desiree D. Williams, Magen Herrington, Hannah Herrington and Haley Herrington. As well as 5 step- Great-Grandchildren, and Niece, Elaine Knowlden.
Frank was a very happy and easy going man, Friendly and personable, many would say he had great character and integrity. Above all he was sincere and honest with a wonderful smile. He will be greatly missed by all those he loved.
