Frank Ray King, 93, went to be with his Lord on February 22, 2013 in Humble, TX. Frank was born on January 11, 1920 in Houston, TX to Robert Ivy & Myrtle King. He was a loving father, grandfather, & great grandfather. Frank is preceded in death by his devoted wife of 71 years, Vera Lucille King; brothers: Robert, Clyde & James King; sisters: Daisy (Sis) Schraeder & Beatrice Lamar. He is survived by his sons: Robert (Dianne) & Ronald King; daughter, Nora (Frank) Bulin; grandchildren: Steven (Joy) King, Caroline (Steve) Becker, Suzette (Brian) Potvin, Brian (Shannon) Cox & Stephanie King; great grandchildren: Alexander & Amelia King, Mary, William & Luke Becker, Evan, Olivia & Aaron Potvin, Mitch Credeur, Brendan & Cassidy Cox; sister, Sallie Walker; many other relatives & friends. Frank worked for HB&T (Union Pacific) as a locomotive engineer for 40 years. He loved gardening, fishing, bowling & his family. He was a member of Melrose Lodge #1293, the Commandery & North Houston Morning Lodge #1360. Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Tuesday, Feb. 26th at Brookside. Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, Feb. 27th at St Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2131 Lauder Rd., Houston, TX 77039. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
